A passionate connoisseur and devoted student of wine and winemaking, Akiko Freeman is the proprietor, CFO and assistant winemaker for Freeman Vineyard & Winery.

Ed Kurtzman, Winemaker

A gifted winemaker with a talent for crafting elegantly structured, cool climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, Ed Kurtzman has been the winemaker for Freeman Vineyard and Winery since its launch.

Eric Buffington, Assistant Winemaker

In 2006 Eric Buffington joined Freeman Vineyard & Winery as assistant winemaker. Working alongside winemaker Ed Kurtzman and Akiko Freeman, Eric rounds out the dedicated Freeman winemaking team, adding his insight and enthusiasm to the winery's small-lot, artisan Pinot Noir and Chardonnay program.
