Freeman Winery is proud to share that Akiko Freeman will be honored as a recipient of the 2026 Asia Game Changer West Award at the Asia Society Northern California’s annual gala on April 23, 2026 at the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco.

The Asia Game Changer West Awards recognize individuals whose work has inspired leadership and impact across fields including business, culture, education, and innovation. Akiko is being recognized for her contributions to the wine world as winemaker and co-founder of Freeman Vineyard & Winery, and for her dedication to crafting exceptional cool-climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

The evening will celebrate the achievements of this year’s honorees and include a formal dinner, performances, and remarks from distinguished leaders in arts, culture, and public life.

Tickets are $75 per person and $40 for members. Ticket price Includes a tasting of at least 6 wines and will include a library wine or two poured from a magnum, a light lunch, and music. Additional wines will be available for purchase with no corkage fee. Event Times are from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm.
