Celebrate Earth Day with Freeman Winery!

Join the Freemans and other esteemed wineries from Green Valley at the gorgeous Iron Horse Vineyards to celebrate Earthy Day.

Where better to celebrate Earth Day than Green Valley? Participating wineries: DeLoach Vineyards, Dutton-Goldfield Winery, Freeman Vineyard and Winery, Hartford Family Winery, Iron Horse Vineyards, Lynmar Estate, Marimar Estate, Rubin Family of Wines. Keynote speaker: California Secretary of Agriculture Karen Ross, whose topic is the Future of Food. Chef Traci Des Jardins to showcase the “Impossible Burger”, made entirely from plants. Imperfect Produce is providing “ugly” spring vegetables as crudités. Plus an exhibit of National Geographic food photography and live music. Net proceeds will benefit Sustainable Conservation, uniting people to solve California's toughest environmental challenges.

$65 General Admission ($55 for wine club members) – limited to 200 guests for lunch, wine tasting, keynote and live music.

$250 VIP Reception - one hour meet and greet from 12 noon to 1pm, with bubbles and sustainably farmed California caviar at the home of Iron Horse Founders Audrey and Barry Sterling, limited to 100 guests, who then join the Main Event for lunch, wine tasting, keynote and live music.

Net proceeds to benefit Sustainable Conservation, a non-profit organization uniting people to solve California's toughest environmental challenges, chosen by Secretary Ross to be the beneficiary.  .

Freeman Winery Featured at Yosemite National Park’s Winemakers Dinner

The Grand Grape Celebration

On November 30 – December 2, 2016, Ken & Akiko Freeman will be participating in Yosemite’s Grand Grape Celebration winemakers dinner at The Majestic Yosemite Hotel. This fall wine enthusiasts will gather in Yosemite National Park for The Grand Grape Celebration complete with educational wine tasting seminars, a five-course gala dinner paired with wine and a chance to meet some of California’s most esteemed vintners. Since the wines are the star, The Majestic Yosemite Hotel’s culinary team crafts the menu around the wines being poured — not the other way around.

Along with participating in the gala dinner and receptions, we will be presenting a seminar on: Sonoma Coast or Russian River Valley? A comparison of the two appellations in cool vs warm vintage. Click here for more information and reservation details.

The Great Big Bacchanalia
San Francisco’s original, all-pinot noir celebration returns to Farallon on Saturday afternoon, November 19, 2016. The extensive tasting of pinot noirs from over 50 of Oregon and California’s best producers is held from 3 to 6 PM. In addition, the afternoon features sumptuous hors d’oeuvres to complement the wines and an opportunity to meet the winemakers.
