Freeman Winery will be presenting our wines at the famous Blackberry Farm, a luxurious hotel and ranch situated on a gorgeous 4,200-acre estate in Tennessee's Great Smoky Mountains.

Whether you’re a competitive cyclist or just falling in love with life in the saddle, the event promises to be a breathtaking experience for riders of every level. This year, the Blackberry Farm Cycling team will be joined by Cycling Coach Robbie Ventura as well as by Sports Science Consultant Dr. Kevin Sprouse, whose Podium Sports Medicine supports professional triathletes, cyclists and Olympians around the world. This multifaceted team will lead exhilarating rides and game-changing exercises and training sessions. We’ll reward ourselves each day with delicious meals from the Blackberry Farm culinary team and wines from acclaimed Vintner and avid cyclist Ken Freeman."

Freeman is proud to a featured guest winery at this amazing dinner:

The evening’s Swine & Wine dinner will begin with a welcome reception on The Rooftop at h2hotel’s new sister hotel, Harmon Guest House. Guests will drink in views of Fitch Mountain, the Sonoma hills and downtown Healdsburg while sipping on a signature Pigs & Pinot inspired cocktail or glass of sparkling wine.

Then head down to Spoonbar as Chef Matthew D’Ambrosi will prepare a multi course menu of light and modern dishes highlighting the beauty and simplicity of seasonal produce and pork. The menu will showcase two of Sonoma County’s boutique Pinot Noir Producers: Croix Estate and Freeman Vineyard & Winery. Join us for this casual chic dinner in h2hotel’s Green Room. All pork for the Swine & Wine Dinner provided by Niman Ranch.

After dinner, guests are invited to continue the party at Hotel Healdsburg for after-dinner drinks and sweets.

Taste of Pigs and Pinot

Visit the Freeman Wine table at Friday evening’s festival kickoff of the lively Taste of Pigs & Pinot Tasting. Guests may sample 60 highly-acclaimed Pinot Noir wines competing in the Pinot Cup competition, both from Sonoma County and around the world. Tastings are served alongside a variety of pork dishes, including homemade sausages, charcuterie, grilled pork, patés and other special creations from Chef Palmer, Dry Creek Kitchen, guest celebrity chefs, and local Healdsburg restaurants including Chalkboard, Spoonbar and Valette. All pork for Taste of Pigs & Pinot provided by Niman Ranch.

Highly acclaimed Nobu Restaurant in Hong Kong features Akiko and Ken Freeman's wines at a special dinner on March 9, 2019. Chef Nobu was born and raised in Japan and apprenticed in the sushi bars of Tokyo before he ventured overseas to Lima, Peru and then back to LA and NY in the US. Classically trained, chef Matsuhisa created a unique and inventive style that has brought him fame and a global group of Nobu restaurants worldwide.

Freeman Wines are highlighted in this exclusive pairing dinner hosted by Progressive American Steakhouse, Edge, located inside Four Seasons Hotel in Denver.
Edge is led by Executive Chef Simon Purvis and Sous Chef Zachary Rozanski and showcases locally sourced ingredients and Colorado-raised beef.
Signature dishes include wagyu beef are grilled to perfection, free-range Boulder chicken and mouthwatering sides like lobster and mac & cheese. Delightful desserts prepared by skilled Pastry Chef Ryan Schmitt.

Complimentary valet parking is offered for both lunch and dinner in the restaurant.
